Calgary Canada-China Friendship Association (CCCFA)
Founding and Mission Statement
The Calgary Canada-China Friendship Association was founded in 1974 in response to increasing interest among Canadians in the accomplishments and transformation of the People's Republic of China. The Association provides information about China through regular member meeting dinners with guest speakers, public lectures, film showings, forums, and other programs and activities. The Association has organised several travel tours to the People's Republic of China, introducing many people from Calgary and southern Alberta to China and its people. Membership is open to anyone interested in the advancement of mutual understanding and friendship between the people of Canada and China.
